The Bingham Hotel in Richmond is the perfect spot for a London wedding. The tranquility of this leafy spot by the Thames combined with the buzz of Richmond makes it a really unique place to be.
On the morning of Alice and Alec’s wedding I arrived early to take some photos of Alice and her maids getting ready. Alice wore a stunning Amanda Wakeley gown and a sparkly pair of Jimmy Choo shoes. Her maids wore Coast blush gowns. The Baudelaire suite was the chosen spot for the bridal preparation – the mood was calm but excited and the champagne was flowing.
Before long Alec arrived at the hotel and the ceremony was underway. They opted for a humanist ceremony which was so personal, so touching and at times really rather funny. After the ceremony, guests were treated to a champagne reception on the lawn. In between some pesky rain showers, we popped out for a stroll along the river for some photos of the newlyweds. Such a perfect spot for bride and groom portraits.
Alice and Alec thank you so much for welcoming me to your celebration, it was such a pleasure to be part of it. I wish you all the best for many happy years of marriage.
