Emily and Jon are getting married next year at Notley Abbey in Buckinghamshire but chose their home turf for their engagement shoot. Dulwich Park to be precise, and what a perfect spot they chose. We talked, we walked, we laughed and before long we’d managed to circumnavigate the park and found ourselves in the grounds of Belair House.

Engagement shoots are such a great way for me to get to know my couples. There are no deadlines, no rush, no schedule of events to follow. Because of this, my couples manage to relax and more often than not really enjoy the experience. Most people don’t relish the thought of being in front of the camera but an engagement shoot shows couples that it doesn’t have to be intimidating or scary. It can actually be a lot of fun.

Emily and Jon were great – so easy going and relaxed. They said yes to absolutely everything I asked of them and I really hope the pictures speak for themselves. I’m so lucky to work with such great people – Emily and Jon I’m so excited about your big day at Notley Abbey.
