AYNHOE PARK WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY – LUIZA & KNUT
I am so happy to be sharing this Aynhoe Park Wedding with you. From start to finish this wedding was perfect, and was such a special day. Luiza, Knut and their friends and family are all such wonderfully welcoming people – they are kind, warm and REALLY know how to party. All the ingredients for the most amazing Aynhoe Park wedding day. From the first moment I met them for their engagement shoot I knew this would be a day to remember and it certainly didn’t disappoint.
It’s no secret that Aynhoe Park weddings are up there as some of my favourites. I genuinely believe it is one of the most unique and best wedding venues in England. Every time I go back it feels like a homecoming with such a lovely warm welcome – but I also spot new things every time. It’s a joy of a venue and one I shall never tire of. Luiza and Knut’s family are a cocktail of culture excitement – with a wonderful mix of Brazilian, French and Norwegian guests to name a few. The one thing of course that everyone shared on this particular day was an overwhelming sense of love and excitement for Luiza and Knut who clearly, were made for each other.
The day kicked off with Luiza and her girls getting ready upstairs at Aynhoe Park and Knut and his friends shooting on the lawn. The sun was shining and the corks were popping early and there was a general buzz of excitement amongst the house. The Orangery looked stunning with a wonderful flower arch at the top of the aisle. The ceremony was perfect – there was crying, there was laughing; and most importantly there was love.
After the ceremony (and the most wonderful confetti exit!) guests were treated to a champagne reception on the lawn, underneath the beautiful afternoon sun. The speeches (which were both funny and incredibly heart warming) were outside on the lawn. I really do love this format. And then guests were invited in for their delicious wedding breakfast. Before the food was served, we were introduced to some delightful Norwegian wedding breakfast traditions – which in short involve lots of kissing and cheering – my kind of tradition! After the breakfast, guests were invited back into the Orangery for music and dancing. A night to truly remember.
Luiza and Knut thank you for giving me the opportunity to be part of your day. It was an honour and a privilege. You have such lovely friends and family who welcomed me into your special day with open arms. I wish you a lifetime of health, happiness and love x
