When Rhiannon and Ryan asked where we should have their engagement shoot, I knew immediately where I would recommend. If you’ve read my blogs before, you may have heard me talk about one of my happy places, Black Park. When my husband and I first moved to this area over 15 years ago we spent a long time seeking places that reminded us of home (home being Somerset!) Whilst Black Park on the face of it isn’t very much like the rolling countryside of the West Country it’s very reminiscent of the space, the tranquility, the openness. So for that reason its become a family favourite of ours.
A few weeks ago I met Rhiannon and Ryan on a chilly Saturday morning and we headed straight into the woodland. We had such a lovely time walking through the trees talking about wedding plans, and of course taking a few photos along the way. I’m sure you’ll agree that they are both totally gorgeous and I think I might have squealed with excitement when I saw they were wearing such lovely Autumn coloured jumpers 🙂
Rhiannon and Ryan, I’m so excited that you chose me as your photographer. It was such a pleasure to be around you both and I’m so excited about your big day. I just know it’s going to be fabulous and I can’t wait to record all of those special moments for you. Have a fabulous Christmas, see you next year!
