Last year I received a lovely message from Cindy who lives in Hong Kong about their London anniversary photoshoot. She wanted to plan a trip to London with her husband to celebrate their wedding anniversary. Part of this plan included a photoshoot in and around Holland Park and Notting Hill. Over the months we were hatching plans (via Whatsapp!) and finally this summer I met Cindy and Wayne at Kyoto Garden in Holland Park. Cindy brought with her some freshly picked lavender from her trip to the lavender farms in Surrey and also some beautifully painted watercolour art.
I just adore shoots like this. I love that my clients invest the time to organise these events and I love that I’m the person who gets to shoot it. Cindy and Wayne were absolutely brilliant to work with and were so at home in front of my camera.
Time flies – literally. The older you get, the smaller the {b3618edfa836b4e104e053ee92e81b84b7e1632ae7e4c9064f537a1710877c6e} of your life each day becomes. Memories are like treasure to me. I love opening the treasure chest that is our annual family album help us remember key moments and most importantly the emotions we experience.
Cindy and Wayne, thank you for coming all the way from Hong Kong, thank you for choosing me to photograph your anniversary. I do so hope we can do it again some time. Hong Kong is on my list so you never know, maybe I’ll come to you 🙂
