Aynhoe Park Wedding Photographer

When Victoria and Sean asked if I’d be their Aynhoe Park Wedding Photographer I jumped at the chance. If you’ve visited Aynhoe Park before you will know just how incredible this venue is. It’s very hard to describe in words because it’s such a visual feast but I hope these pictures give you a little insight. Victoria made a breathtaking bride. She was calm, oh so much fun, and absolutely beautiful. Sean was the perfect groom – immaculately dressed, super handsome and so very welcoming.

Their choices of EVERYTHING were stunning – from the incredible floral pieces to the tea cup table plan, this wedding was executed with an outstanding level of style and detail. My day kicked off with Tori and her lovely bridesmaids in the bridal suite at Aynhoe Park. It was the perfect spot to watch the ceremony preparation and also just to gaze across the stunning view of the Cotswolds. When Tori was ready we headed down to meet Sean for their first look. There were cheers of excitement from the upstairs window and Sean kissed his bride to be. We grabbed a moment for some portraits and then headed over to meet the bridal party for the formal shots.

The sun shone brightly and Mark the (rather brilliant!) Butler served rum cocktails. You may notice that the male bridal party are wearing shorts and this is because Sean hails from Bermuda. In fact it was in Bermuda that Tori and Sean met and fell in love. There were many Bermudian touches aside from the shorts including holding the celebration on a Thursday and planting cedar seeds.

The ceremony was conducted by Sean’s father and, quite simply, it was brilliant. It was funny, it was tear-jerking, it was personal and so special. Literally not a dry eye in the house. The view from the ceremony was the perfect backdrop. Confetti flew and everyone cheered as the new Mr and Mrs headed back down the aisle to enjoy their cocktail hour on the terrace. After a series of fantastically emotional and funny speeches guests were invited to enjoy a delicious wedding breakfast. To finish the day everyone was treated to an amazing party in the orangery at Aynhoe Park.
