I’ve been a Botleys Mansion Wedding Photographer on many occasions and it is always a pleasure. Just driving into the grounds makes me feel like I’m in the South of France and the mansion house itself is quite simply breathtaking.
Alice and Kieran planned their wedding all the way from New York and absolutely no stone was left unturned. The design and execution of the wedding itself was amazing. All of Alice’s choices were stunning – the dress, the flowers, the readings, the music to name just a few. I knew from the very start of getting to know Alice and Kieran that they were super chilled, incredibly fun and very much in love. They were both an absolute delight to be around and were so much fun to photograph. I’m not sure I’ve ever laughed as much than I did with these two.
On the morning Alice was the perfectly relaxed bride. As she sipped her champagne she chatted and giggled with her sisters. There was a genuine sense of excitement and anticipation. Alice’s beautiful red hair was loosely plaited and adorned with little buds. It perfectly matched her stunning dress. When Alice arrived at the top of the aisle Kieran literally grinned ear to ear. The ceremony was full of tears and giggles, the perfect combination of fun and sincerity. As they read their personal promises to each other their friends and family dabbed at their tears and smiled knowing that these two were destined to be together.
Following the ceremony we enjoyed a beautifully sunny drinks reception at the front of the mansion, at which point I was able to snatch Alice and Kieran away for some portraits. Like I say (and as you’ll see below) they were a dream to work with.
Alice and Kieran THANK YOU! Thank you for being such amazingly good fun to be around, thank you for relaxing and enjoying every second of your wedding, thank you for being so genuine and so lovely to photograph. You made my job an absolute delight and I’d give anything to do it all over again.
