This wedding was certainly a day to remember; so much love, happiness and friendship in one place. I left this wedding with a smile on my face and a very full heart. Thank you Elena & Ben for allowing me to be part of your very special day!
The weather was just amazing, which when you’re planning an outdoor ceremony comes as a huge relief! The intimate courtyard of The Tythe Barn in Oxfordshire felt more like the south of France. As the staff placed the benches out for the ceremony, Elena was busily getting ready surrounded by her lovely parents and girlfriends. The champagne corks were popping throughout the morning and there was a very special kind of buzz in the room.
When Elena was ready her father walked her into the courtyard and under the beautiful vines to meet Ben at the top of the aisle. I’m not sure there was a dry eye in the house as Elena & Ben spoke the necessary vows to make them husband and wife. A huge cheer erupted when it was finally official and a lovely sunny champagne reception followed.
Elena, Ben and I grabbed some time on our own at the front of the barn for their couples portraits. They were a dream in front of my camera – completely gorgeous, amazingly good fun and so relaxed!
Thank you both for such a wonderful day. As I watched your lovely families joining hands on the dance floor I was reminded of the very special bond that a wedding creates. Not just for the bride and groom but also for the friends and families. People who otherwise may never have come together, had it not been for your beautiful wedding, were very much united. It’s the special ingredient that makes a wedding day such a blessing and yours had this in abundance.
