JIt’s been an absolute pleasure to get to know Hannah and Drew. From the moment we met (Hannah fed me a variety of amazing snacks and reignited my love for figs!) I knew I wanted to photograph their Botleys Mansion wedding. They told me that their vision for their wedding day was to host a huge party and invite all of their friends and family. Sure enough they pulled it off with people travelling across the globe to join them (including many of Drew’s friends and family all the way from Australia).
My morning started with Hannah and her maids in the honeymoon suite of Botleys Mansion. All the girls were super excited and watched in anticipation out of the window to see arriving guests. I also popped by to see Drew and his groomsmen who were busily getting dressed and fixing buttonholes into place.
The girls (wearing Mark Lesley dresses) helped Hannah into her Pronovias gown and she was ready to go! We headed down the huge Botleys staircase and into the ceremony room. Drew’s face was an absolute picture as he saw beautiful Hannah head up the aisle with her Father and brother. The ceremony was a delight with some beautiful readings from close family members, not a dry eye in the house. After the exchange of rings and really touching vows the registrar announced Mr and Mrs Byrd and the room erupted.
After the ceremony Hannah and Drew were showered in confetti and enjoyed a drinks reception in the reception of the amazing mansion house. After this we all headed to the Orangery for a fabulous banquet and a collection of amazing speeches. Hannah and Drew then took to the dancefloor as everyone watched on.
Hannah and Drew thank you so much for allowing me to be there for your special day. It was a real pleasure to be your photographer and I hope these images will always remind you of what an amazing day you had.
