I first met Lynsey and Josh at The National Wedding Show last year. Instantly we made a connection and the three of us spent a great deal of time talking about their plans, their vision and their engagement. The moment Josh told me that he’d hired an art gallery to propose to Lynsey I knew that I wanted to play a part in their special day. They’d already chosen their venue which was The Swan at London’s Globe Theatre – a dream venue, especially for someone with a theatrical past (as Josh does!)
I kicked off their day with Lynsey and her maids as they tucked into fresh fruit, pastries and bubbles. The calm mood quickly shifted to excitement as Lynsey stepped into her lace gown and styled her own make up. I then headed straight to The Swan to meet Josh and arriving guests. We were ushered into the stunning balcony room as the bride arrived.
The ceremony was full of beautiful moments – Lynsey and Josh wrote personal vows and promises to one another (my personal favourite was to always serve poached eggs in bed). A marriage made in heaven! After Lynsey and Josh were announced as husband and wife we all made our way outside where they were greeted by a shower of confetti. After which I borrowed some time with the newly weds for their portraits. We headed down the river to a beautiful cobbled street (the home of the late Sir Christopher Wren) which proved to be the perfect space.
Lynsey and Josh, thank you so much for allowing me to be part of your beautiful day – it was perfect. I hope you enjoy your pictures for years to come.
