What a completely amazing day Laura and James’ Silchester House wedding was. I was expecting it to be fun after I spent an afternoon with Laura and James earlier this year in London for their engagement shoot. They were both so relaxed, so fun and most importantly majorly in love with each other.
From the very start, their wedding day felt like a true celebration of the joining of families. There was such a lovely sense of warmth and love. The moment that Laura walked into the ceremony room was so special and you can see from the pictures below that James’ reaction was lovely. The ceremony was full of fun – there were tears of laughter and there were tears of joy. As Laura and James said ‘I do’ the room erupted with clapping and cheering – such a happy moment.
Silchester House offered Laura and James a fabulously private and intimate space for their marriage. Guests sipped champagne and cocktails on the lawn while being served delicious ice creams. After this, a delicious wedding breakfast was served, some great speeches were made and Laura and James cut the (amazing!) cake. Laura and James then danced their first dance to the Aerosmith classic ‘I don’t Want to Miss a Thing’. Guests circled them on the dancefloor and everyone sang. What a moment.
Laura and James – thank you for welcoming me so warmly to your day. It’s been such a pleasure getting to know you both. Your ceremony was so special and represented so beautifully the only reason people should get married, love.
