Just moments before we started Liz and Andy’s engagement shoot at Lillibrooke Manor, they told me that they laugh, a lot. Liz said “When we are together we are mostly laughing”. I just loved this and knew instantly that I was really going to enjoy working with them. Even an Arctic chill and the most gravelly driveway didn’t stop Liz from donning her amazing Sophia Webster flamingo heels. And not to forget Andy who was looking fabulous in a beautifully tailored crushed velvet jacket. I knew I was in for a treat. Sure enough, they laughed – a lot. We laughed together, we chatted loads and in general spent an amazing hour and a half really enjoying the shoot. I think this really shows in their pictures.
On the note of engagement shoots, I received a lovely response from my recent post, so thank you to everyone who took the time to get in touch. For anyone interested in my view of engagement shoots please go here and have a read. Just to add to this – the magic of an engagement shoot can be and often is so special. The run up to a wedding can be an exciting but sometimes stressful time. These sessions can help everyone take stock and remember what it’s all about. And hey, if you fancy wearing a pretty frock then why the hell not.
Love, Faye x
