I can’t believe 2014 is over… what a year.
So many exciting things have happened and I have thoroughly enjoyed putting this blog together. It gives me the chance to look back at all of the exciting places I have been and all of the lovely people I have met. It’s fair to say that I have been blessed to work with incredible families and couples this year. I’ve worked at some amazing venues – Aynhoe Park, Notley Abbey, Northbrook Park, The Odney Club and Dorton House to name a few. I photographed my first same-sex marriage (which also happened to be my fab cousin).
It’s also been a huge year for me and my personal photographic ventures. I have visited Berlin, Oslo, Majorca and Slovakia with just my film camera. Going back to basics with film has been a huge learning curve for me and one that I shall continue throughout 2015.
Business-wise I have added a film package to my offering and I now work with new up-and-coming photographers to offer them a mentoring programme. This is something I absolutely love doing and hopefully something that will grow in the years to come. I also launched my new logo and my new website and am overwhelmed by the feedback I have received. I became a recommended supplier to the fabulous Bijou Venues, literally some of the most exquisite venues. I became a Rock My Wedding Preferred Supplier and I was shortlisted for the 2014 Wedding Industry Awards.
I hope you enjoy looking at my year in photos. Thank you to the wonderful couples and families who chose me to photograph their special moments, I am always so honoured. Thank you also to my friends and family who support me and my photography, you know who you are.
