You may have seen a while ago I blogged about a pre-wedding shoot on Bantham Beach. That was earlier this year with Hannah and Chris and I was so excited to see them both again and witness their beautiful wedding. I was much closer to home this time with the church ceremony at Little Missenden Church (who incidentally do a fabulous cream tea on a Sunday afternoon!) followed by a marquee reception at Monkton Barn in Marlow.
It’s fair to say that weather wasn’t really on our side but there were glorious moments of sunshine and it really didn’t spoil a thing. Hannah looked like a princess in her blush coloured dress and matching shoes. Chris looked dapper in his morning suit with matching cravat and rose.
Extreme attention to detail had been paid to this wedding – hessian chair ties, single vases of pastel flowers, hand made (by Hannah’s Mum) table numbers, edible pebble favours and beautifully designed stationary (by Hannah’s brother!) Hannah and Chris share a passion for travel, specifically South America and this was reflected in the food (such original choices and delicious too). The speeches were great value and I found myself laughing out loud (I try to stop myself by sometimes I just can’t help it!) I learnt a lot about Chris including his love for cuddly toys and the best men suits were just brilliant.
