What is Coaching?
My coaching programme is designed for wedding professionals who are looking for support in their wedding business. I know from personal experience how difficult it can be to enter a fiercely competitive and saturated industry. When I started out as a wedding photographer I learnt very quickly the common mistakes that lots of budding wedding businesses make. I was fortunate enough to make some decisions which had a very positive impact on me and my business.
There are so many important factors to running a successful wedding business: Branding, Marketing, Social Media, Web Design and Development, Building Reputation, How to Run a Legal Business and of course how to build an amazing business that is both personal and unique to you. Phew, it’s a big list.
How Can You Help Me?
When I first started my business I went at it completely alone. Whilst I trusted my photographic ability I knew nothing about running a business. I trusted my instinct and googled the rest! Of course I went along to workshops to learn from the ‘professionals’ but there were some big gaps which I managed, just about, to paste over. I would have benefitted massively from a shoulder to lean on, an ear to listen and someone to offer some guidance. In fact I believe that every person marketing themselves in our industry (or any industry) should have a coach. I have one and the other successful wedding professionals I know have one. There is a lovely trait in our industry where good people pass on their knowledge and experience in a ‘pay it forward’ kind of way.
That’s why I coach and why it’s such an important part of my business.
