It gives me enormous pleasure to share the stunningly beautiful wedding of Isabel and Caleb with you.
Everything about this wedding was perfect but one of my favourite aspects was the influence of bees in the styling. Isabel told me that she has always loved bees – their look, their symbolism and their incredible strength. Caleb bought Isabel a bee necklace some years ago and she wears it every day. In so many ways it was the perfect theme for their wedding and so Isabel (who happens to be a very talented illustrator) drew their very own bee. This was the centre piece for their stationery and even the men had hand designed cufflinks.
Isabel wore an Essence of Australia dress with Boden shoes and of course her bee necklace 🙂 Her mother Helen created a stunning veil which Isabel wore with the most delicate flower crown. Her maids wore grey David’s Bridal dresses and were all on hand to help dress and prepare Isabel to perfection.
Isabel and Caleb were married in a beautifully traditional church service. Isabel worked very closely with the church to select a touching variety of hymns for the choir and congregation to sing. The music was a huge highlight of the ceremony. After vows and rings were exchanged, Isabel and Caleb headed up to the high alter for a quiet moment of reflection – I think this little moment will go down as one of my favourite wedding moments ever.
After the ceremony, Isabel and Caleb were greeted by cheering guests throwing handfuls of petals. We then headed back to Isabel’s family home for a stunning garden champagne reception. Speeches were held on the patio and the sound of laughter echoed through the fields. People laughed and people cried – such emotional and really funny speeches.
Guests were then invited to the beautifully dressed marquee to enjoy a delicious wedding breakfast. After which, Isabel and Caleb cut their magnificent ombre cake and then took to the dance floor for their first dance. Guests cheered as Caleb whizzed Isabel across the floor. So much fun.
Isabel and Caleb I was so honoured to be your photographer and enjoyed each very special moment of your wedding. Your hospitality was superb, your friends and family were so kind. I hope these pictures will remind you always of what an incredible day you had.
