It seems like ages since I first met Jemma and her lovely Mum at The National Wedding Show. When we first met Jemma told me all about her vision for their wedding and it sounded just fabulous. They chose The Crazy Bear in Stadhampton because of it’s opulent but relaxed feel.
When I arrived at The Crazy Bear Jemma was nearly ready and was looking fabulous. She wore a beaded 1920s inspired gown with jewelled headpiece. Her maids wore knee length lace dresses adored with cream flower balls.
Jemma and Paul decided to break with tradition and opted to walk down the aisle together accompanied by Jemma’s brother (who was also Paul’s best man). The ceremony was just perfect – genuine, heartfelt, funny and at times a bit teary. In their vows Jemma promised to make Paul banana milkshake whenever he wanted. Paul promised to paint the kitchen.
After the ceremony we enjoyed a series of speeches during the drinks reception and then a stunning feast in the Moroccan inspired room. After this we were treated to some mind blowing magic from Sam Strange (brilliant magician!) and the coolest Photo Booth (in a cream London taxi). The Crazy Bear weddings are cool – fact.
Jemma and Paul thank you so much for a truly fabulous day, your hospitality was incredible. I laughed and cried and had such fun. I hope the Maldives are spectacular x
